Any approved refund will be reduced by non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred by First Response LLC. This may include course credits or certification materials already purchased or assigned, payment processing fees not returned by the processor, and any refund-related processor fees.
For blended courses, HSI online course credits may be purchased and assigned before the in-person skills session. Once assigned, those third-party training costs may not be recoverable.
Customers are responsible for confirming that HSI certification meets any employer, licensing, regulatory, or organizational requirements before registering.
Certification requires successful completion of all required course objectives, including any hands-on skills evaluation required for the selected course.
Payment is required before online course links, certification credits, or certification materials are issued.
Blended courses require online coursework before the in-person skills session. Students are responsible for compatible device, browser, and internet access. A laptop, desktop computer, Chromebook, or tablet is strongly recommended; mobile phones may not display all course features correctly.
If the online portion is not completed before the scheduled skills session, the skills session may need to be rescheduled.
