OSHA Outreach and compliance training without pulling everyone off-site

First Response Erie offers online OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour Outreach training through HSI/Summit, along with single-topic workplace compliance courses and bundled new-hire safety packs. OSHA lists HSI/Summit Training Source as an OSHA-authorized online Outreach Training Program provider.

Use these courses as a cross-sell with on-site CPR/AED, First Aid, BLS, or Bloodborne Pathogens training. It gives Erie employers a cleaner way to handle multiple safety-training needs through one local point of contact.

What OSHA training does and does not cover

OSHA says its Outreach Training Program provides basic and more advanced training on common safety and health hazards. It is not the same as a full employer safety program, and employers may still need site-specific policies, hands-on evaluations, equipment-specific training, or regulator-specific documentation.

Forklift Fundamentals covers online classroom knowledge only. OSHA forklift rules also require hands-on operator evaluation by the employer. OSHA 10 and 30 courses must follow OSHA pacing rules and are not valid in New York City.

OSHA and compliance training FAQ

Do you provide the OSHA card?

The OSHA Outreach course is completed online through the authorized provider. Students receive the provider's completion documentation and OSHA Outreach card process according to that program's rules.

Can we bundle OSHA with CPR or First Aid?

Yes. Employers can bundle online compliance courses with on-site CPR/AED, First Aid, BLS, or Bloodborne Pathogens training through First Response Erie.

Which should I choose, OSHA 10 or OSHA 30?

OSHA 10 is commonly used for entry-level workers. OSHA 30 is more common for supervisors, leads, and employees with broader safety responsibilities.
